Accommodation
Our wedding will take place at Casal Montani, a beautiful vineyard nestled in the countryside near Frascati, just outside of Rome. It’s a peaceful and scenic spot - perfect for a relaxed celebration among the vines!
We recommend staying in Frascati my hometown on the night of the wedding, as it’s the closest town and well-connected to the venue and where we will celebrate day 2 - I don't think at night there will be any taxis in the area to get to Rome. We'll be arranging a coach service for our friends staying in Frascati to take you to and from the venue on the day, so you can enjoy the evening without any transport worries.
We can also accommodate a small group at Casal Montani itself on the wedding night - priority will be given to the wedding party.

Transport
1) Ciampino airport is the closest to Frascati - a 10/15 minutes drive from it, there are trains, buses and taxis connecting them.
2) Frascati can be a perfect spot to spend a couple of days over the wedding weekend as it has a 35 minutes train that runs every hour to the city centre of Rome but the last one is around 10pm and the first one in the morning at 5 am .
3) It could be a good idea to learn how to deal with Roman taxi drivers - have a fare agreed first or please use a taxi app! You are not in London, forget Uber as of 2025.

Frascati is really popular, so we recommend booking in advance.

Frascati might be small but..
Frascati is an easy day trip from Rome. This hilltop town in the heart of the Castelli Romani; these are translated as 'Roman Castles' in English.

It has a GREAT nightlige until 2:00am, everywhere you go is great but Piazza San Rocco has our hearts.
A lot of swimming pools around and nice parks to escape the heat.
And finally among the plethora of restaurants, 'Dopo Lavoro Ricreativo', my favourite restaurant.
